My mother was a breeder of whippets when I was a child. I followed her at every show and every racing. So, she gave me the virus very early (1979). I had to wait till the end of my studies to have my own whippets. In 1988, DIXMOOR kennels born and I bought my own first whippet. Then several litters born at home and some of my dogs did really well in the showrings in France and abroad.
I decided to become a judge in 2003. Of course my first breed was the Whippet. Then I decided to ask for new breeds. According to the rules of the French Kennel Club, I had to judge all the breeds of group 10 before asking for other breeds in other groups.
Now, I am approved to judge all breeds in groups 10, 5 and 3, and some breeds in group 9. I had the chance to judge in many countries at all-breed shows : Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Italy, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, Ireland, England (only whippets), Bahrein, Hungary, Czech Republic, Austria, Poland, Slovenia, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, USA and Australia. I also had the great Honor to judge some sighthounds at the World DogShow in Paris in 2011 and at the World DogShow in Milano in 2015.
