I have been involved with dogs all my life and have a special interest in breeds within the Gundog, Pastoral & Working Groups and, in particular, the Hound Group.
I have together with my wife, Ann, bred and exhibited Borzoi under the Kennel Name Dimland successfully for over 50 years and have bred and campaigned many UK champions.
I first awarded Challenge Certificates in 1979 and to date I am approved to award Challenge Certificates in 46 breeds, including all Hound Breeds, as well as breeds in the Utility, Pastoral and Working Groups. I am also approved to award Best In Show at Championship level.
I have served on various Breed Club and Canine Society Committees and I have been a serving Committee member and Trustee of the Welsh Kennel for more than 45 years, and I am now Welsh Kennel Club Joint Secretary.
I was a Member of the Kennel Club Board for 20+ years and also served on the KC Breed Standards Committee, Show Executive Committee and the KC Judges Committee.
I have been fortunate to have judged breeds all across the World including Australia, Russia, USA, Scandinavia and other European Countries including judging breeds at the World Dog Show in Amsterdam in 2018.
